Hey Butch, This is Andi from Germany. I listened to the Nitro album "Not just another pretty face" that you played guitars on in 1984 and I´m desperately looking for an original vinyl copy of teh album for my personal collection. Would be great if you can help me with that. I´m a collector and I also have a small record company. I would also be interested in re-releasing the album in album in a limited quantity on CD if you like. Please get back to me at the following e-amil adress: mailto:battlecryrecords@gmx.de Thank you very much! Best wishes! Andi
HEY BUTCH, THANKS FOR ADDING OUR BUGGY TO YOUR ALBUMS # IMG 7699. ON OCT.2ND 2010 IN LYCHBURG TN. WE HAD FUN THAT DAY... ENJOYED THE WHISKEY RUN CAR SHOW. THANKS, PETE AND PENNEY
we attended the 2009 redneck rumble in lebanon, tn. saw some great cars, met some nice people, and topped it off by proposing to my fiancee on the stage with the band. all in all a great time. your pics are awesome. you did well my friend. seeya next year. thanks
Neat pic at the Frosty Morn packaging plant! Probably won't have much time to shoot this trip. Unless the younger boy can get Wednesday off we'll probably drive down on turkey day. Take the women shopping on Friday, and fix things up around the house on Saturday. Dunbar Cave is about ten minutes away so if there aren't many things to fix up around the house I might go for a hike there. Mostly looking for wildlife.
LOL! I took the buyout from Mazda and the retirement from Ford. I bought two professional Canon lenses while they were killing me with overtime. The "L" glass lenses by Canon are very sharp and fast. They have an entry level lens (EF 70-200mm f/4 L USM Lens) that will knock your socks off. It cost about $600 and is well worth the price. That is how they hook you on the "L" series. Caution: You might have to enter a 12 Step program to break your addiction to them.
I don't know to much about Nikon. I have family and friends that shoot them, but I prefer Canon. Probably ought to Google "Canon versus Nikon" for some opinions.
If I wasn't semi-retired and broke I'd seriously consider the 70-200mm with the f/2.8 instead of the f/4. You can shoot in lower light conditions. I think its about $1000
Are there any good photo opportunities around Clarksville at Thanksgiving? We always run down there to visit family. Might go back to the Nashville zoo again. Last thanksgiving the Golden Eagle wasn't on display. I guess it was to cold that day.
Hello, Thanks a lot for your comment on my entry of the contest guess what it is. Sorry for being late with the answer to the question what it is or my entry for particular fotki contest. This is really sand in different colours. My best friend worked out his own way how to make paintings from such sand. One example you can see there: http://public.fotki.com/Picha/latvia/sigulda/sigulda-locality-fe/dsc0161.html Regards, Peteris
I totally fell in love with pigeon forge!!!! I plan to go back I have an 18 year old son so the car thing was a bonus, it was a huge family vacations Dad, brother his family, sisters and their family we rented a 7 bedroom "cabin" we had a blast "except" for the bears right now we are heading to Florida moving our son to school he is going to Wyotech. talk to you later
HI thanks for commenting on my bears, yes they were fed all day long but they were kept in a very small concrete cage and their den was also a concrete cage.....I would have liked to see more of a natural habitat since they were "rescued" bears and they were charging the public to see the bears and showed pictures of the bears on wood trees and dirt, and when you get there you see this is was very very sad and upsetting.
