I did read that. Curious to know what you will decide. I believe now that you have learned so much about maintaining your hair, it could thrive no matter what you did to it because you would know what to do with it. I think we have learned, the key to successful retention is moisture (among other things). The list could go on but that is at the top of my list. A chemical color would dry out the hair but keeping the moisture level up could result in a beautiful colored/textured head of hair.
Yep..You are right about the moisture.. and with color I'd have to be more protein treatment conscious! I don't have to use too much protein right now.. Yes,I am curious too, I can't make up my mind. One minute I'm excited and want to do it, and the next min, I'm not wanting to chance it. I feel my hair is a lot of work now. Adding Color will just add more work. Not sure if I can be that committed to color, some people LOVE color so much, and will jump over the moon to try and keep their hair balanced. another thing to consider is I have not reached my hair length goal yet, not sure if I should start experimenting with color until I've reached that? So, I may have just talked my self out of it, right here! lol
I totally agree with you. I have considered color myself briefly but the thought never lasted too long. I was always to afraid of the possible damage. I have had too many hair woes as of late with no added help :(
