I actually knew the cub's names two weeks ago. I know one of the keepers. I, too, have entered a photo of Tula in this week's contest. It should be interesting.
I do use CS3 but I'm only an amateur, CS3 can help with HDR but I use a stand alone programme called Photomatix Pro for HDR, it's way better than CS3 and a lot quicker if you have a lot of photos to do.
I haven't used CS4 but the cloning tools in CS3 are pretty good, so I would imagine CS4 would be even better.
G'd morning Deb. Thanks for the visit and the comments. Do I remember correctly that you will be at the Gerlach seminar on the 22nd? If so, I look forward to meeting you.
Hi Deb....I cleared my calendar and have signed up for that wildlife seminar on March 22nd. My friend John Gremmer will also be attending and maybe Dmitry Levin from Fotki as well...if he can get off work. Perhaps we'll see you there. If you've lost the info, you can find it here: www.gerlachnaturephoto.com
Hi Deb, thank you soo much for your sweet comment on my weekly, I wish it had done better, but oh well I love it, and so do others, I think that's all that matters to me!!:D I have used this free HDR program for a year now, and it adds so much more to a otherwise somewhat dull photo, it helped bring out those clouds, and add more drama to the photo!! I can give you the link if you want, it's a bunch of fun playing around with old photos, and making them more interesting too!! I will be back in a few to give it to you!! Thanks again for the sweet comments, Michelle:)
Hi Deb.......I just received a promotional folder in the mail for taking "Beautiful Nature Photographs" with digital cameras. It's hosted by John & Barbara Gerlach and it is a one-day instructional seminar in Milwaukee (actually at the Midway Hotel on Moorland Rd. in Brookfield). It's on March 22, a Sunday. You can find out more on line at www.gerlachnaturephoto.com if you're interested. I may consider it...the brochure sounds interesting.
