Hi MaryJust loved the shoe museum, and all the pretty shoes. Pitty one couldn't try them on! :-)Happy to hear that you have enjoyed viewing the photos.Do you still have snow? We have had a couple of cold days during the weekend, but back to 6 degrees celsius again. Strange winter!Enjoy your week!
Hi Mary Thanks for visiting and for your comment. Hope that the festive season was enjoyable for you and yours. We had a lovely time, but I am happy to be back to normal, whatever normal is. Had a look at your new doggie pictures, and also at your garden. Just as lovely as ever, no matter that the weather was not so good. Slainte Myra
I've been up your way a few times. I like Wallace falls right there in the Sultan area, and then we went to some falls on the right hand of the hwy just after you come off Stevens pass, I didnt write down the name of them though. I got a few shots off there, but I have not finished processing them. It was Labor day and we went over snoqualmie pass and we were driving along and my husband said look at all the traffic, and I said oh crap it is Labor day we are never gonna make it back over the pass tonight. So we wound up just driving through Leavensworth and then over Stevens Pass just to get home.
Oh man do I hate all of that traffic. I just don't do it anymore. Years ago when I had horses and did a lot of Mountain riding I'd take an extra day or two off work just to avoid that situation. A truck load of tired horses standing in traffic is that pits!. I have been to Wallace Falls many times. It's a nice hike and as I recall it's hard to fit all of the falls into the frame. I am embarrassed to say I don't know the name of the falls just off the pass even though I have stopped there many times. It's terrible that I take our mountains for granted when they are in my own back yard so to speak.
Thanks for visiting here is a reply to your comment. It is also in my album comments.
The waterway is actually running under I-90 up by snoqualmie pass. For closer pictures go back to the last album you were commenting on. I took closer shots in that album.
