You are most welcome to visit Sigulda. It is one of the most visited places in Latvia. During soviet time we had over one million visitors annualy. After regaining of independence this number decreased, but now is going up again. It is somehow unique place with ruins of three medieval castles located close to each other, nice two new palaces, cable car, luge and bobsleigh track, etc. Definitely the most beautiful is Gauja river walley as such.
