Hey, sis! Please check out the natural hair myspace and tell me what you think, and what you would like to see. You can get your own profile, gallery, and we even have a natural hair forum and live chat. And if you have a salon/business, you can submit that to the site as well. Thanks!
Hey like i just with thru ur photos and say some of the questions u raised as well as the state of ur hair ....but my best advice is to start doing deep treatments everytime u shampoo...oh nad also u dont have to shampoo ur hair like u can co wash ( wash with a moisturizing conditioner) also like try to make sure that ur products dont contain the damaging chemicals u know and Moisture is very important like just get a spray bottlle and add water and what ever essential oil that u like and mist ur hair with it.. also heat is a no no lol..lol... like use it as little as possible it can ruin ur curl pattern....hmmmm [tryna think of some more] lol...well just cater to urself and ur hair ya know . u know u best just give it wat u feel it needs and vitamins and a healthy diet is always a plus...hope this helps!
well i never measure it... BUT i also DONT add the honey and olive oil to the bottle that the conditioner came it like i brought one of those smaller plastic bottles and ill put the conditioner in there id say ill fill it up like 80 -85% of condtioner and the rest with with honey and olive oil and shake it really well to get it all mixed in .... but Good LUCK !!
Thanks for the picture comment. My BC was very liberating. I am still finding my way as far as natural hair is concerned. If you find things that work pass them along. I will do the same for you.Welcome to Fotki!
Thanks for stopping by my page and showin' me some love. You asked what a co-wash was and it's washing your hair with conditioner instead of using shampoo. Many shampoos have alot of harsh chemicals that strip our hair and dry it out. It's also called a co-poo or no-poo. I usually co-wash every week and half to 2 weeks and shampoo only once a month or even less than that. Hope this helps!
I added you as a friend as well. Please feel free to come by and ask questions. Look at some other fotki, because there is a wealth of information all through here to help get you back on track.
