Howdy Wayne...I assume that you are the Wayne Stevens Jr. that works with Chric Buck of TEM? I have seen your 'masters' that you made for Chris. I will be doing the same thing shortly. My name is Tom from New York State. I just happened to come across this site and saw your name. If you have tips on doing 'masters' for Chris, I would apprecaite it. Very nice work Wayne.
I once owned the Sox &martin Box truck you have pictured. Found it behind a shop in a Chicago suburb in 1984. It still had the sticker in the door jamb saying it was built special for Sox & Martin. They had painted it white and were using it to haul tricked out foreign cars until they blew it up. It had a 413 truck engine in it. I bought it and shoe horned a 3208 cat diesel in it. I painted it yellow and used it to haul my late model stock car around the mid west until 1995 when I got out of racing. I sold it to a racing out fit called Comp- prep out of Zenda Wisconson. I think they sold it to a private party that Lived in Alden Ill. I used t see it in his drive way. I have not seen it around for the last couple of years. But I am sure it still lives. What a great truck.
Hi Wayne, Hey man I think you do awesome work! Love your Pro Mods. I do Pro Mods myself but I must say they are not quite in your league! You give me inspiration. I don't have a Fotki site yet, gotta get my digital camera first! Anyhow Happy Building!-Mark Soulsby
Wayne, great, great stuff on your Fotki. I found it via Top End Miniatures and can't stop gawking! Very awesome builds. When you have a minute, can you offer some more advice? I say more because you had provided me some insight on hinging Pro Mod/Pro Stock doors on another site, but this time, I'd like to know what you're using for screws, nuts, bolts etc (and sizes please) for stuff like 4 link bracing, struts, linkages and steering. Thanks much!
You ever think of writting and illustrating a "How To Detail" book??? You should, you'd make a small fortune!!!

Wayne---I was a very good friend of the late Ricky Couch, and I have been having trouble returning to the "hobby room" since his death. I discovered your website and hope that all the work that you have done to share with others will help me. It is a great site and is filled with some great information. Thanks for all of your hard work, and I will be visiting it real often---thanks---Wolfe
wayne, great pics. Old funny cars never die. good shot of Al graebers car tickle me pink. I worked on that car when al just bought the big dodge from none other than bobby harrop (flying carpet). Al altered the wheel base on that car himself after it was delivered by harrop to big Al back in the day. #55 PICK. THANKS, BIG JOHN GREGORY
WOW, Wayne, you did a great job on these Funny Car pics. On the 70's page #206 you even have a pic of Marv Eldridges' Yellow Corvette. I used to work on all of his cars and I have never seen a pic of it as this car was only around for a few months. It was actually the Red Roadster with the Pearl Yellow Coupe mounted on it.
Hey Wayne, I have had a look around a love all hard work I've seen. Looking for resin bodys or model body that is funisihed or unfunisihed too go on slot cars for drag racing. I'm also looking for 79 malbu.

Hey Wayne just saw your pics for the first time in regards to Top end minatures. They are incredible to say the least. Anyway I was wondering if you or anyone else would be doing a 1966-67 Nova promod?.
